Meditation for a Motivated Mind: How Transcendental Meditation Can Drive Us to Achieve Great Things

What does the mind of an Olympic athlete or the founder of Google have in common? While we might like to believe that these individuals are wildly different from the rest of us, they both practise Transcendental Meditation (TM). People from all walks of life have used this method of meditation to achieve higher levels of performance and to bring about positive change in their lives and the lives of others around them.

When you practise TM, you’ll notice that you feel more motivated, clear-headed, and energized—all of which can lead to new ideas and inspirations that may take your life in exciting new directions!
TM provides profound relaxation while allowing the consciousness to remain alert. This instantly promotes the mental awareness to far finer levels of thought than were before attainable. During TM the EEG brainwave synchronisation patterns occur across the entire brain, and this process is amply proven by an excess of Alpha1 waves (8–10 Hz range). No other meditation model has been proven to consistently create this neural synchronisation.

The profound slumber provided by TM essentially allows the brain’s intellect to get to action cleaning up ingrained tensions as well as daily tiredness. It is not the same as deep sleep, which serves different reasons, and it may go much deeper than deep sleep. By combining TM with regular activities, this much more effective type of relaxation gradually becomes the “new reality”, preventing stressful situations from occurring.

Transcendental Meditation (TM) lowers the mental commotion created by daily stress, and it also stabilises the cognitive process, allowing the mind to focus on the most important goals.
TM eliminates mental barriers, tiredness, and laziness that have been blocking inner drive from freely expressing itself, along with other things. As Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has stated, Transcendental Meditation unlocks “all opportunities.” It builds the framework for increasing focus and motivation, opening the route to achieving personal goals and objectives with fewer difficulties.

Anyone can learn the technique of Transcendental Meditation. There is no need to change your habits or give up on your day-to-day activities; you will gradually and easily adjust your lifestyle as needed. As you practise, follow the guidance of the instructor and let your mind get some rest. Soon, your focus will improve, your mind will become clear and you’ll be able to achieve extraordinary things efficiently. You’ll improve areas of life that might seem impossible right now.
