Study – Concentrate better
Psychologists say we only use 10% of our mental potential. Use more of yours and give yourself an edge.
Studies show TM gives you a greater ability to concentrate, to take in and make sense of your experiences. This helps with all areas of academic study.
It’s easier to concentrate when your mind is clear. Research studies show TM increases your ability to take in and absorb information as well as to focus. It was previously thought that these abilities did not improve after early adulthood.
Master degree engineering students who learned the Maharishi Transcendental Meditation program showed improved performance on their standard examinations after six months, compared with randomly assigned controls.
Other educational research has shown that TM develops intelligence and creativity, increases brain integration in college students; promotes cognitive and self development; increases academic achievement in school, university, and postgraduate students.
It improves perception and mind-body co-ordination; decreases negative school behaviour in adolescents; and reduces symptoms of ADHD.
Improved postgraduate academic performance
